Stacy E. Miller, ASID, IIDA, RID
President, Principal Interior Designer
Stacy Miller is the President and Principal Interior Designer of SJL Design Group. With over 25 years of professional experience she has designed numerous projects including high-rise and mid-rise condominiums, condominium conversions, multifamily apartments, hospitality, custom builder model homes and high end residential projects.
As the principal designer at SJL, Stacy oversees all projects with high expectations and a diligent work ethic, while still being readily available to her clients.
Stacy began her design career as an intern at Wilson & Associates. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, she went to work for David Corley Interiors, a residential interior design firm in Dallas. She later joined Faulkner Design Group, also of Dallas, where she found her true calling in commercial interior design.
In 1996 Stacy Miller decided to step out on her own and launched SJL Design Group. Stacy is licensed in several states and also has projects nationwide. Today, SJL is a multi-talented award-winning firm of multiple industry-recognized senior-level designers, architects, and support staff, headquartered in Dallas.
She has been honored for expertise in her field by being awarded the Southwestern Region of Illuminating Engineering Society of North America Silver Medal and was also named a finalist in the 1996 Builder Magazine Best in American Living awards. In 2006, the Dallas Business Journal named Stacy Miller on their Top 40 Under 40, a list of the top business people in Dallas under the age of 40. Each year, from 2006 to 2009 D Home magazine has consistently named her as one of Dallas’ top interior designers. In 2008, the National Association of Homebuilders awarded one of Miller’s projects a prestigious Pillars of the Industry award.
In addition, Stacy was the principal designer on numerous outstanding projects which have earned SJL Design Group many awards including multiple ASID Legacy of Design awards and ASID Design Ovation awards.
Stacy Miller is an alumna of Ursuline Academy and Texas Tech, a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, International Interior Design Association, Network of Executive Women in Hospitality, Urban Land Institute, National Apartment Association, Junior League of Dallas, Children’s Hospital Women’s Auxiliary Group and Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae Association.
